Launch Event Details:
📅 Date: Saturday, November 2nd
🕔 Time: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
📍 Location: Studio of Marco Schiavone, Via Schio 11, Turin
This year, we’re celebrating in Turin with a special event hosted at the studio of acclaimed artist and photographer Marco Schiavone. Marco will showcase exclusive works from RIV.05: La Via del Fuoco in a curated exhibition that brings his artistic vision to life.
Featured Wines from Tenuta del Garino:
In collaboration with Tenuta del Garino, a vineyard and hazelnut estate in the Western Langhe, we’ll serve specially crafted wines for this occasion. The Tenuta, both an incubator of agricultural diversity and a space for creative expression, has been pursuing a unique artistic project since 2023, featuring custom labels that explore the relationship between art, wine, and landscape. Marco Schiavone himself beautifully describes the estate's winter landscape: “On cold winter days, the earthy sun sets multiple times behind the Alpi Cozie. These movements are graphic portraits, like film frames, reminiscent of the lunar phases. Fascinating, mysterious motions that balance agriculture, and thus the human knowledge tied to the land.” These stunning scenes of the sun repeatedly setting over the Alps resemble lunar phases, capturing mysterious cycles that sustain agriculture and the human knowledge rooted in the land.
Curated Fire-Themed Books by Paint It Black:
Our event partner, Paint It Black, will bring a curated selection of books themed around fire, perfectly aligned with the issue’s exploration of volcanic and fiery motifs. This special collection will be available for browsing, offering additional literary perspectives on this powerful element.
Celebrate the artistry and stories within RIV.05: La Via del Fuoco, and join us for Torino Art Weekend and Artissima! Copies of our new issue and past editions will be available for purchase.
We look forward to seeing you there!
